Stayed here for one night whilst hiking the Alpine Pass Route. Had booked a room in the Berghaus part of the building, this has the basic rooms but we found them to be perfectly comfortable with everything we needed for one night. There are options to stay in either of two other buildings which looked more like traditional hotels. Use of all the facilities was available to us, such as sauna etc The location is truly stunning, nestled in a clearing deep in the valley, we had walked from Murren and were tired/bit dirty! but we were given a warm welcome by the staff. Sitting in the early evening sunshine with a beer then having a simple home cooked but delicious meal we felt very lucky! Breakfast too was of the usual Swiss quality. This was the most basic guesthouse we stayed in but turned out to be our favourite due to the remoteness and warm welcome of the staff, a special place.
