Have just re-visited the Mount Haven in Marazion and had a beautiful weekend staying in a stunning room with views over the Mount to match. Watching the sunrise over the bay and the pink light fall on the castle whilst standing on the deck outside my bedroom was hard to believe in the middle of November on a warm Sunday morning. The room was fabulous with contemporary 4 poster in luxurious furnishings. As someone has already commented, the chefs deserve much praise for their beautiful food and top-class presentation; there is many a hotel would kill for the standard that this hotel presents each day.
Above all are the staff; they are a treat. So friendly and always willing to ensure your stay is the best that can be provided. They are a wonderful group of people, and their attention to detail is noticed and appreciated. I agree with Stubert84 - they do make you feel at home without being in any way insincere about it. They are lovely to everyone that comes to stay.
I highly recommend this hotel and wish everyone who reads this review and decides itis high time they visited the Mount Haven, a wonderful stay - you won't be disappointed I promise; I will visit again as soon as I can!!

St Michael's Mount is just off the beach at Marazion and this hotel offers direct views of the Mount from the rooms' balconies and the lounge area.

We stayed for a few days and had booked a room with King bed on the first floor. The room had plenty of floor space and a good sized balcony with views over the Mount - stunning !

The restaurant is of a high standard and the bookings are staggered to ensure an un-rushed and quality service. Taking orders upstairs in the lounge with a pre-dinner drink makes the dining experience a relaxed affair. Book to ensure a table. In the warmer months, tables on the terrace are used.

We found all the staff to be professional but with a personal and friendly feel. This is not a 'chain' hotel and the personality of the owners and staff can be felt. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Be aware that the hotel is over half a mile from the town centre (not that Marazion is all that big) and the walk home is uphill. Easy enough in daylight, but at night after a meal might be a more challenging affair. Penzance is only about a 10 minute drive away. The hotel provides free parking.

Well where to start ... Been to this hotel twice before and it has always been fantastic. This time was special as I was proposing to my girlfriend, and the hotel didn't dissopoint :) as we spent our first holiday there I thought it would be ideal place to ask the question. One phoning the hotel the care of the staff kick in, unfortunately I couldn't book the room I wanted in the hotel but when I phoned I was offered a really nice room I would say one of the best there but there are all fantastic :) . Nothing was to much trouble for the staff even them helping to get the flowers and champs to the room while we were down at dinner. Note to anyone who is staying but thinking of eating out think twice as the food is amazing and should be reckonized for the chefs excellent skills, it's one of the best meals we have ever had. 5* Staff are all friendly and make you feel very at home. 5* I would recommend this hotel to anyone, who likes to relax even for one night. I would like to thank all the staff for all there help and look forward to many more visits :) keep the good work up.

We have once again visited Mount Haven. How can perfect get better? Somehow it does!
