Great loaction in a remote village on an isolated beach. The beach is beautiful with hardly anybody on it except the hotel guests, lots of crabs and shells! It was great to see some giant crabs in the early morning, rushing into their burrows as soon as you near them. The ayurvedic treatment facilites are also very good.
The hotel staff is very hospitable, especially those in the restaurant. To set the expectation right, few negatives to bear in mind
1. The location is remote, so one is entirely dependant on the resort's restaurant for all meals. Although the food is good, it is pricey
2. The beach is not lighted and it is quite dark after 6 p.m. So there is no activity after that, except the swimming pool. Hunderds of cute crabs invade the beach after that; although they seem harmless, one never-the-less feels scared to walk on the beach.
3. The swimming pool had lot ot insects and worms when I used it in the morning. Probably they clean it latter in the day, but given their reputation, they can probably improve on this and get it cleaned before it is open for guests.
4. We were the only Indian family in the resort. They do seem to be pampering their foreign guests a bit more than Indians
Overall, it was a very relaxing and memorable stay.
