The hotel is situated outside of Bologna in industrial area - if you travel by car it's a good choice. The rooms are nice and clean although the bathroom (especially the shower) is rather small. The neighbourhood is quite noisy but if you keep your windows closed there is no problem. The city centre is 15 minutes by car in the evening but if you travel during the day the traffic is quite heavy so do take the extra time.

If your going to Bologna to purchase in the CenterGross, this hotel is worth the thought, while being nearer Bologna than the normal CenterGross hotels

This hotel is located in the indistrial part of town. There are big-rigs driving around at all hours. There are three huge radio towers right next door. The restaurant is not bad, there is a woman that roles fresh pasta for you. No charm, dirty, and in a bad location.

We stayed at in a standard double room at the Nettuno Hotel Bologna on the 9th – 11th April 2010. Accommodation in Bologna was expensive so we chose Nettuno Hotel as it was only a 10-15min drive from Bolognas city centre.
The Hotel is located in an industrial estate, so if you don’t have a car I would not recommend staying here. The rooms were very clean and roomy, the bathroom was large and it had a small balcony with a view of the industrial estate below and wineries across the road.
The hotel is quite large and the night we booked in a school group of over 100 kids arrived, so it was very very noisy with kids screaming, jumping on beds and running a muck down the hallways. We actually thought it was quite funny, so we didn’t mind the noise. During the night, trucks stopped in at the industrial estate and unloaded steel which was extremely noisy.
The same again the 2nd night. But in saying that, if you after a cheap stay then the place is fine.
We would stay here again, because it was very clean and roomy and cheap and was located closeby to Bologna.
Things to know
Getting into town: The drive into town (Bologna) takes about 10-15mins, its very quick and easy. So if you have a car and want to stay cheap this is the spot
Breakfast: Plenty of pastries, bread, cold meat, cheese, cereals, tea/coffee

We traveled through Bologna one night and stayed in this hotel. Although it was a little hard to find (we arrived at night with little direction), the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the shower was a little cramped but clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. We also got free internet access. I would definitely stay here again!
