This was truly the best B&B i have even had the pleasure to stay in. The room was fitted out with all the mod cons - The bathroom was stocked out with more than my house's bathroom. Ear buds, Cotton wool, Hairband for applying makeup - honestly everything you ever need!!
The room was decorated gorgeously and the homely touches were brilliant. For example there was a teddy bear for my son all tucked up in his bed. The room was very spacious even for a family of four.
Moving on the the Breakfast - simply superb!! I had the full Scottish breakfast which was stunning and cooked to perfection. Michael the owner is obviously a very good chef and likes to be a prefectionist. My husband had his first ever taste of a tattie scone and has been asking me ever since to make him some. the breakfast spread included, 5-6 types of cereal, homemade fresh smooties, fruit salads, yoghurts, pancakes, toast etc etc etc. So much choice and i'm not even a breakfast person.
Michael the owner was very friendly, welcoming and made us feel right at home. He made such an effort even when we did keep him awake with the bathroom fan! lol.
In comparison to a hotel not so far up the road, at £200 per night for my parents, who cancelled after the first night as it was appalling, we got a bargain and my parents were not so amused when i carried on with how excellent our place to stay was.
I can definitely say Rooms @ 25 was a phenomenal B&B experience - Thank you Michael!!
