We have stayed here twice travelling south. It's in an area with few hotels. Lovely grounds and a nice pool. Staff very friendly. Breakfast overpriced.
The restaurant is in the old watermill which is charming and interesting - have a look upstairs. Both set menus very good value but don't seem to change. Service good and fair wine list.
Rooms in separate block. Rather plain but OK for a night. Area very peaceful but walls betwwen rooms are paper-thin so try and get one at the end of the block with mini terrace.
