The owner and his wife could not have been nicer or more attentive. The hotel had a charm that we were looking for on our honeymoon. It's gorgeous view overlooks Platis YIalos where some of the best restaurants on the island were located within walking distance. The 3-course breakfast is simply amazing...make sure to get the fruit with greek yogurt drizzled in honey as a dessert. We stayed in four high-end hotels during our visit to Greece and Niriedes turned out to be our favorite. I highly recommend it!

We are a greek couple with a 14-month year old girl and stayed at the hotel in early July 2011.
The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated, breakfast is superb and the view to Platys Gialos beach amazing. The people who run the hotel, Thanassis and his wife are very helpfull and descrete and always eager to offer you the best of services. The beach is only a few minutes walk from the hotel but alternatively you can cool off in the hotel's piscine. There is also a playroom next to the pool which those having children will find very helpfull as you can easily leave the children in the playroom and have a quick swim in the pool.
In general, the hotel was excellent and we will surely revisit it as it really made us relax and enjoy our holidays.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location in Platys Gialos, romantic views, not too busy. The breakfast is great, comprising of different pastries each day from the owners fathers bakery, eggs, fresh fruit and basically anything you want. Our room has a separate living area and 2 balconies. The pool is small but nice to sit around for a relaxing day. No complaints really, would love to come back, but only for a relaxing quiet break, not for those who need to be out doing all the time. Beach 100m down some steps is quiet and clean also.

We were booked into a hotel in Kamares which was poor, the travel agent helped by directing us to Niriedes Hotel. This hotel sits just above the beach with incredible views 180 degrees. The hosts are gracious and accommodating. This is the best place of our two week vacation and we stayed at lovely locations including the Dana Villas on Santorini. We were travelling with our 17 year old daughter and 14 year old son. We stayed in the family suite and it nicely met all of our needs. You will not be disappointed.
