Our 5 day stay felt like having a slice of paradise! The hotel is in a perfect location, the rooms are clean and simple but have all the amenities. The staff was terrific: They accommodated our requests always with a smile, were friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay a most memorable one. We will be back!

Didn't stay at the hotel so cannot comment on rooms etc.
We stayed in Kamares and took a trip to Plaitis Yialos to see what the other resorts and hotels were like for a future vist.
Went into this hotel to try to get a drink and to ask about prices etc.
As soon as I asked for a drink the "lady" who came out to me simply said "No - goodbye".
After some protestation that I only wanted a drink she said "no - you must leave"
If that sums up the service I will definitely never return and would not dream of recommending this hotel to anyone.

The location of this hotel is outstanding - it is built right on the nicest beach of the island of Sifnos. Furthermore there are many pleasant restaurants along the beach a well as a mini-market and a newspaper shop.

The hotel was built over 40 years ago, and it shows its age. While the decoration of the interior is VERY charming, my room and its amenities definitely show their age. This is also true for other rooms that i visited. The bed mattresses need changing, the fan makes a lot of noise (you cant really sleep with it on) and the bathroom is awful.

However the room, linen, bathroom and all public places are extremely clean. Furthermore the staff were pleasant (it seemed like a family run place), but i have the suspicion that they need to take a liking to you if you want to have truly good service.

To sum up, what makes this hotel is its location. If you want to be on the beach (and only spend time in your room to sleep) and not have to worry about getting into a car then this is an ideal place for you.

I spent 6 days with a friend there but it is not what I expected fron a hotel rated 4*....

It is VERY expensive comparing to what it offers (we payed €170 per night)..
The only good thing is the view and the location (just in front of the sea, at the end of the Platis Yialos Beach). Otherwise the people were not very friendly (as if they were bored to do what they have to) and the breakfast served which is always included in the price was terrible (the bread was never fresh and there was never butter or marmelade).

So I would say that if someone wants to spent nearly €200 per night, he should go somewhere else because it doesn't worth it...
