more or less satisfactory hotel with small rooms at beverly hills prices. it is situated in the center of this awful city which has less soul than el arenal in mallorca. very noisy outside and mediocre italian or whatever it is supposed to be restaurant. no way to enjoy anything but your ride home.
the staff more than unprofessional (i guess they have never ever seen a tourist) and noisy.
one block from the calcado, a central place with nothing!!!! to do and nothing decent to buy.just a freak show like the whole city.forget it! better stay in rio or sao paulo,really!

Great location in safe area with endless choices of restaurants and shops around.
The rooms are spacious and decorated according to basic standards of Mercure hotels. The shower is excellent, but the bathroom has no natural ventilation.
The hotel has a superb heated pool and another one in open space, both small.
The breakfast has a good variety of items, excellent for start the day!
I think the only downsides of the hotel is the service provided at the front desk, way below what I expected for a hotel of this category.
During check-in we had a cold welcome and they were pretty confused about the room category I had booked.
When we check-out, they try to charge us for breakfast that it was already included in our reservation!

Excelente localização em região segura e com infinitas opções de restaurantes e lojas ao redor.
Os quartos são amplos e básicos e decorados conforme os padrões dos hotéis Mercure. O chuveiro é excelente, mas o banheiro não tem ventilação natural.
O hotel tem uma excelente piscina térmica e outra a céu aberto, ambas pequenas.
Boa qualidade e variedade nos itens do café da manhã.
Acho que um dos únicos pontos negativos do hotel é o serviço prestado na recepção, bem abaixo do esperado para um hotel dessa categoria.
Durante o check-in fomos recebidos com certa frieza e o pessoal da recepção fez confusão quanto à categoria do quarto que eu havia reservado.
E pra completar, no check-out ainda quiseram cobrar pelo café da manhã que já estava incluído na reserva!

Hello. This hotel has great location but encourage the local authorities to give a better look of nearby small businesses. There is a little licor store to the right of it, and small eateries that require better presentation. Nevertheless, the area has good surveillance and is generally clean.

the hotel cleanliness is great, food is great, and so the attention.

The food is pricey compared to good American standards, or places as Singapore. A lobster for USD 85 is too much for it.
Nearby restaurants are also pricey for a one person meal. The plates for two are great for the price they offer.
Definitively a place to travel with company from a loved one.

Traverl to other beaches nearby like Bombinhas is quick and must go early.
