“Roomy Nice Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

My co worker and I recently stayed at the Doral location for a few nights. It does have a guarded entrance, fence between the parking area and street and all rooms look out on the golf course. The location is on the landing path to MIA, but you could not hear any of that if your patio doors were closed.
There are 15 buildings set up like an apartment complex.
The rooms are very roomy, I had a standard king with a large sitting area and my co worker had a double room with 2 baths more like a small apartment. All the rooms have a jacuzzi tub and large walk in closet. The bathroom is as large as a bedroom in some homes and includede a tv. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen well stocked. Really liked the door water and ice access. It even has a mini grill in the cupboard. My only problem with the room was the tv, it didnt work when I arrived but was quickly fixed. The channels are limited and when I used the bath tv I noticed the main one had more snow/static. There is also a dvd player.
The pool area was very nice. We loved the covered cabanas and the citrus infused water. We looked at the restaurant menu but there are plenty of restaurants just south on 87th.
This was a convenient location in a quiet area town. There are many corp headquarters nearby. We will definitely be staying here on our next business trip.
All of the staff were very friendly!

“Beautiful, Clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I stayed there during the 2011 eastern days, the attention was good, the rooms are beautiful furnished, the bathroom is very good too and there is a complete kitchen.

“Beautiful hotel, amazing rooms, but isolated”

I stayed here for a work trip during January, 2012. The hotel is more like a complex of building surrounding a golf course. The rooms are amazing and large! A tv in the bathroom, cool sitting area and tempurpedic beds make the room incredible. Also, there's a kitchen area in each room; nice if you're traveling with the family. Parking is free (which is nice in Miami), but the hotel is isolated and you can't walk to any restaurants or anything (though they do have a bar and restaurant on site). Overall, I would go back with the kids, especially because of the roominess and I'll have a car.

“Bring a Book (if you do not golf)”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

An absolutely plain property with a lovely staff. The decor looks like it came out of Crate & Barrel's catalog. Completely uninteresting. The property sprawls along a golf course (a very good one I understand) and the walk from your room to the lobby can take 20 minutes...I'm not exaggerating. They know about this and have a fleet of vans and golf carts that come and get you and take you anywhere you want to go...you just have to call...I mean, you just have to call...what a bore!
The pool area on the day I lounged there had two separate tv's blaring on different channels while rap music was piping over the sound system; an amazing combination of sound; and not in a good way. The staff was not paying attention. When called on this they corrected it immediately.
The rooms are huge and have full cooking capability albeit not so much as salt & pepper supplied. (The maid ran the full size dishwasher a whole cycle to wash two wine glasses.)
Play Golf or stay somewhere else.

Room Tip: Be close to the lobby or bring track shoes.

“very good for a fair price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

Guys, if you don't bother to drive a little bit more than usual, just stay at here.
A 4 star hotel, and as one, very confortable, roomy, very nice with a very friendly staff and a great breakfast.
Although they have some work to do (there is not unusual they fail in having someone to help you with your luggage), I really would recommend them.
Be careful when making reservations using other sites than their ours though... Is not common, but sometimes they make minor mistakes about the room you picked up.
Overall, a great hotel. Have been here about ten times already.

Room Tip: If you're going with a lot of people, ask for one of the Villas. 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
