I stayed at Dall'Onder Grand Hotel for just one night. I know it isn't enough to write a complete review, but I want to share what I saw there that I found fascinating. I arrived on a Friday night. Dinner there was nothing special. My room was spacious and had a nice balcony on the 4th floor. The bathroom was ok too, but the hairdryer couldn't dry anything. The bed was good, the street was calm, and I slept well.
The next morning, on Saturday, when I went down do the restaurant to have my breakfast, what a surprise: a choir of children came to sing to the guests of the hotel! So charming and cute! I asked the staff who explained that these children have free music classes in the hotel during the week. One of the rooms of the Convention Center is reserved to them, and they have an Institute that, by fund-raising, provides them teachers, sandwiches, buses, chairs, scores, clothes to wear at the performances, everything they need. The children live in the neighborhood and probably they would never have the chance to enter in the hotel if they were not singing in this beautiful project.
