This family-run hotel is a motel-style establishment, with rooms on one level arranged around a large central swimming pool. Our stay (unfortunately only one night) was absolutely delightful. The room, in particular, was enormous and furnished in modern decor, with a large sitting room with big flat-screen television, king-size bed and huge bathroom comprising double bath, walk-in shower and separate lavatory: luxury hotel standard, and undoubtedly the best we have ever stayed in. The food (cooked by Madam and server by Monsieur) was of gourmet standard and superb - well worth the price. The location is rural, quiet and very good as well as convenient, but note that it is not as shown on the Trip Adviser map; it is on the adjacent D920. One should note that, although the hotel rooms and food are of luxury hotel standard, it is still only a 2* hotel in terms of facilities, for example there is no room service, overnight porter, permanently manned reception or all-day bar. Thoroughly recommended and incredible value.

“Another great find in the Correze”
Still being renovated, and no longer Sophotel (now part of the Interhotel chain). The renovations of the rooms well done, very big bathrooms (best shower I think I've had in France - walk in, power, instant hot water - the business!), very comfy king sized bed, flat screen TV and ample storage space. The food at the restaurant exceeded expectations but what was really special about this place was the staff. They were so very welcoming, friendly and professional. Three star hotel - five star personnel.
The location is lovely, convenient and surprisingly quiet. We expected being so close to the A20 we would hear some traffic noise. We heard none at all. The pool is a definite plus, although travelling at the beginning of April it was not ready.

“very good”
we stayed there four days. nice rooms, lovely piscine and delicious meals and service.
I recommand it for everyone.
Notice however that the distance to the magnificent "Dordogne" regio is great (70 km to Rocamadour, 80 to Sarlat etc.)
