My wife an I stayed here as a base for our four days in Brittany. The Hotel, or should I say Chateaux is hard to find but worth the effort. The Chateaux goes back more than 150 years and is pretty much the orginal building from the time. The present owner bought it from the orginal family some 30 years ago and in the main has work really hard on the 27 acres of gardens in the grounds. These are really beautiful and well worth the visit. The Hotel however has only been operating a few years. There are only 5 rooms, but the one we had had a small balcony overlooking the gradens. It was clean and the staff were really keen to make your stay as being a guest in their home, rather than in a hotel. They provide an excellent breakfast but no other meals. You can get refreshments from the cafe for the gardens but this is limited in offering and closes when the gardens close. This hotel is good and clearly has the potential to be really excellent but it is obvious that to the owner the gardens come first.
