We stayed in the Village Inn on the opening night of the Elora Festival. Usually we stay in B+B's in the area, but this time wanted somewhere more economical. The Inn is at a great location - just across the street from the Gambrel Barn, with plenty of parking. The room on the second floor was nicely appointed, very clean and quiet. The staff at the front desk was courteous and considerate. We only stayed one night, but I forgot something valuable in the room and the staff was kind enough to package it up and mail it to my Toronto address with no extra charge.

We were attending the Elora Festival and had a mix up, at the last minute, with a booked B&B. We booked this motel and told our friends we would meet up with them. The motel doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Some reviewers comment on noise but most rooms were occupied and we heard nothing from the other rooms. the location is great - you can walk to the Festival "barn" and there is a Tim Horton's almost next door. The folks at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. As for location to main street, Elora, it is a 1 minute car ride. I would stay there again.

I spent 7 days at the Village Inn, and it was very comfortable. The facility was clean and well maintained, and the beds were very comfortable. Because I was there on business, I especially appreciated the free wireless internet service, and the spacious desk in the room. There were restaurants, a convenience store and Tim Horton's all in a short walking distance. The conservation area nearby was a welcome refuge from our busy work schedule those 7 days.

I came to Elora for 3 consecutive weekends because I really like Elora's natural places, the friendly people here and bicycling.

The Village Inn Elora is the best lodging for me and my friends because it has a friendly atmosphere, it's close to the, actually only 5 minutes by bicycle, the Elora Gorge Conservation Area, 5 minutes by foot to the center of the town/village, and has great restaurants left and right, including the Country Kitchen, a new restaurant that I highly recommend.

The Village Inn has comfortable rooms, tasteful furniture, with TV and broadband Internet access, and above all else, friendly and helpful service. It's also economical, includes continental breakfast, and I really recommend it to everyone I know coming to Elora. 5 star!
