Stayed at this hotel in Langenhagen for three nights during the CeMat fair in Hannover which was a 30 minute drive. The hotel is now owned by the Achat chain, since recently must presume. Overall experience is positive. Rooms although basic and furnished with dated furniture are clean and equipped with the basics. No a/c though, however it was not a necessity during the stay. On the downside only two english channels were available on TV, the rest were all deutche! This hotel has some annexed rooms and apartments however accessible from the outside. Even the restaurant, although forming part of the same block has to be accessed from outside. Contrary to what other reviewers said the staff were extemely polite and spoke fluent english (could be that the staff is new). Breakfast was ok and rather abundant (english / continental). At the lobby one can avail himself from free tea/coffee making and fruit at any time. Room rates although still relatively expenisive were some of the cheapest around. Other nearby hotels although fully booked were approximately twice the cost. I would definately reconsider staying at this hotel in the future as on the whole it was a good experience although not great!
