We wanted to give ourselves a nice christmas present, but this hotel was a huge disappointment. We booked the most expensive room (4500 rs ac room), but when we got to see the rooms, it was a real disaster. Windows couldn't close, aged plombing (which means orange/brown water coming out of the shower during 20 min) and dirty old chairs. We complained to the manager and he showed us another room at the same price, but again the room was a mess. When we walked around the hotel area we saw also new cottages (non ac), so we asked if we could stay there for 1 night, which wasn't a problem but we didn't got any refund.
The food was just so so so. Nothing special, nothing really really bad. The table cloths were always dirty and the restaurant was not heated which means that we had breakfast dinner at temperatures between 10° and 15°C.
The hotel arranged also our safari but when we arrived at the main park gate at 2.30PM, there were already to many jeeps to enter the park so we had to wait and turn back to another gate (second gate). We entered the park at 3.30PM, one hour later than usual planned.
The driver of our jeep was a young guy with no experience at all for driving a vehicle in the national park. He was going too fast and made too much noise because he was not able to keep the engine running. The "guide" in our vehicle couldn't tell us more then what we accually could see with our own eyes. But that day there wasn't a lot to see...
At 5.10PM the guide told the driver to ride back to the hotel because it was getting dark. Eventually we were in the park for 1h40 and drove less then 5 km. Again a HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT.
