My husband and I stayed in this hotel with our baby. The hotel lobby is the patio of the convent and is a very nice place to sit and have a drink or something to eat. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, although the hotel, like many places in Spain, has cut down on personnel due to the financial crisis and the staff is a bit overworked. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was great and the staff put a crib in the room for our baby. Lucena is not a very pretty town, but if you have to stay there, this hotel is a great choice. The food at the hotel is also very good, which was great because we couldn't find any place that looked interesting to have dinner when we walked around the town : )
