Three american friends took a 2 week trip to Italy and had a grand time. We spent 5 days at Federicas farmhouse and had everything we needed. The kitchen was warm, homey, well stocked. her farm is beautiful, she is fiesty, friendly, helpful and busy, running 2 farms and making organic products which she sells at organic farmers markets - which we visited in Siena .We returned the rental car after discovering it was a 20 min walk to bus stop that could get us to Siena. Excellent location to explorey Tuscany from. the only problem was weather - it was cold and rainy, plan on paying for heat if you want to be warm - but this is common at every place we looked.

I recently returned from a 2-week vacation in Italy. The second week was spent at Agriturismo Vigliano with my sons, their spouses, my brother and his spouse. Each couple had their own room and bathroom. The pool area was beautifully landscaped and a great gathering place after a day of touring. It was furnished comfortably with a rustic decor. There were no screens on the windows or air conditioning but neither presented a problem.
It's located about 15-20 minutes from Sienna and has easy access to the major highways. The main town was about 5 minutes by car from the property and could be walked to. The people in the town were great and we were able to watch the soccer matches at the local social club. Great fun!
Loved Nicola and Guglielmo, the couple who ran the agriturismo. Very warm and helpful! And their products especially the pasta are fantastic. It was a vacation I will never forget.
Another review had mentioned that the town was located close to an airport. If it was, I certainly wasn't aware of it.
