My many stays at the San Domenico have always been a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful and cordial. Excellet food and service. Looking forward to my next visit!!

I have stayed at San Domenico in Soverato many time. For a period of 4 years however the owners leased the hotel to another company. It was not kept up and suffered many bad reviews . Now the original owners have taken the hotel back and are in the process of restoring the damage that was done to it both in cosmetics and verbally. I was there recently and can tell you that this 3 star hotel is worth every penny. The views of the sea are beautiful. the walk way along the beach is the best way to get into the modern little town of Soverato.
Do not pass up this hotel. It is the only one on the water. Ask for Luciano and tell him Nancy recommended this place. You will not be sorry.

We stayed for 5 days in June at this hotel with a party of 22 people. It is a simple but clean and comfortable 3 star place, about 1 hour from Lamezia Terme airport. The best feature is the amazing view of the sea from the bedrooms. The sea is clear and the sand is white (though a little gritty). The food is good and there is some limited entertainment. The staff were efficient and friendly - they arranged 3 bouquets of flowers at short notice and were able to deal with queries. There are restaurants a short walk along the promenade into town. Tourism is only just arriving here - so don't expect people to speak English. Most other tourists are German. A good place for lazing, or sightseeing with a hire car.
