I want to thank Eric Veroliemeulen (GM) at the Villa La Palagina in Figline Valdarno, Italy and his kind and courteous staff for my Wonderful accommodations and the excellent food. My experience was like a fairly tale and a dream come true. I was able to relax with such beautiful vistas both day and night. I absorbed the sights and wonderful cuisine offered and the peace and abiltiy to get some writing accomplished and exercise at my liesure.
Thank you guys for the opportunity to share this wonderful place and view with you. I did not want to leave and I would love to return soon.

Top notch all the way. Incredibly beautiful facility and surroundings. Food is without comparrison the Best! Staff is friendly and always helpful. The GM, Eric, is world-wise, knowledgable and a friend from the beginning. The views, the views, the views! WOW does not do it justice. Take in the local town of Figline Valderno, rent a car or take the train to nearby (or more distant) cities, or just hang out and relax at the Villa. It is indeed a world unto itself. You just can't go wrong with Villa la Palagina.

The staff, the view, the warmth, the view, the easy, the view the loveliness of it all! I went, I saw, I fell in love! If you want to visit Italy, visit this Villa! This off the beaten path Villa is wonderful and well worth a visit. The food is great, just typing about it brings back scent of the olives and the feel of the Tuscany breeze. You owe it to yourself to visit this Villa, and Tuscany!

We were so surprised when we arrived at Villa La Palagina...It is off the beaten path and the views were breath-taking! Everywhere you look the view is just amazing and pictures can't even begin to capture the natural beauty! The staff were so helpful and accomodating, Especially Ciata and Eric, the director. We met the residence artist Susan Chalkley and she was especially warm, friendly and helpful. Our rooms were outstanding with clean, large bathrooms, great views, king sized beds and mini bars. They have 2 large infinity pools and a great restaurant. Breakfast was also included and wonderful every morning. We just can't say enough great things about this place! Everything was great, especially the value!
