Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with a friend, we paid €45 per night for a twin room. Hotel was a bit hard to find on first day as we had no car, took us over 2 hours to find it but a lady who owned a shop nearby offered to give us a lift to the hotel.
It is actually quite easy to get to the hotel from the airport and city, from the airport you take the SITA shuttle bus to city (€5) and then from the city take the CAP/Lazzi bus from the CAP ticket office (very close to train station) to I Gigli Shopping Centre which is right beside the hotel. Journey takes approx 40/50 mins. Tickets cost €1.20 from machine or €2 from driver. The hotel receptionist will print off a timetable for you however the last bus from Florence to the hotel is at 8:20pm so we had to be back early every night but there is a big shopping centre with loads of shops and restaurants next door so still had plenty to do in the evenings.
The rooms were modern, clean and spacious and were cleaned every day. The rooms come with an LCD TV and wifi is very reasonable too (€3 for 3 hours then €5 for a 24hour recharge card) The restaurant, bar and lobby were all very nice too, there are 2 computers with internet that are free to use and the staff were very helpful and friendly and all spoke english.
Breakfast was €8.50 per day for a buffet which had a great selection of drinks, cereals, cheese, fruit, meat etc. There is also a 24 hour bar that serves hot food.
Overall I had a great experience staying at this hotel and it was definitely great value for money and will definitely stay here again if i return to Florence.
