What a way to make sure your wedding is memorable!! We had a brilliant weekend with all of our family & friends. All of our guests had an amazing time and could not get over how beautiful the setting was. We ourselves could not have asked for more. The whole experience was one we will never forget & the relaxing time leading up to it was just what we needed to calm the nerves. You were great hosts and you made everyone feel at ease. They have now called you "Tim the all rounder" as you were there when anyone needed you. I hope you enjoyed having us for the weekend because we all thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

The staff also were amazing the way the took care of us, everyone was so pleasant and it was such a joy to be there.

Compliments also to the chef's!! The food was amazing from our family dinner to the canapes & bbq, it was without a shadow of a doubt some of the best food we have all had with the added bonus of a relaxing setting.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful family get-together at the Chateau du Puits et Pratx ! My challenge was to find a family friendly location which would appeal to three generations spanning 7 to 70, comprising singles, couples and families with both teenagers and younger children. A choice of self-catering and B& B accomodation was required as well as easy access to airports serving Ireland, UK, Norway and Italy. Also on my list was a swimming pool and outdoor area for socialising and, as nobody wanted to spend the weekend in the kitchen, a restaurant in the immediate vicinity. We did not want a large impersonal hotel either, as the purpose of the weekend was for us to spend some time together. Luckily for us, Tim & Sasha's Chateau du Puits et Pratx ticked all the boxes and as both are english, communication by email and phone was not a problem.
During our stay, children of all ages made full use of the pool and the younger members thoroughly enjoyed the trampoline and following the antics of the cat, hens, duck and goose. We enjoyed 2 meals prepared by Sasha and her team, a BBQ and a buffet. In both cases the food was plentiful and delicious. Throughout our stay any questions and requests were dealt with promptly and helpfully and nothing was considered a problem. Overall a fantastic weekend. Thank you so much for everything, Sasha, Tim and the rest of your staff ! We'll be back.
One last tip,in order to enjoy the surrounding area you will need a car preferably with GPS as there is a lot to enjoy.

When our daughter and her fiancé decided on the Chateau du Puits es Pratx in Ginestas, south west France as the venue for their wedding, they could not possibly have made a better choice. Absolutely everything about our stay there was wonderful, from the hospitality and kindness of our hosts Tim and Sasha Hazael, to the courtesy and helpfulness of their staff. From the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation, to the choice and quality of the food.

The wedding arrangements too, were perfect. Just the way our daughter had envisaged. Sasha and Tim made sure that everything went without a hitch and that nothing had been overlooked or left to chance. They even implemented a contingency plan in the event of a change in the weather.

Ginestas is an idyllic, typical provincial French community with a population of less than 1500 residents and yet the village and its surrounding area have so much to offer. Life is leisurely and relaxed; the locals are very friendly and unite to ensure visitors are made to feel welcome. Many of our wedding guests were accommodated in local bed and breakfast establishments and everyone, without exception, was delighted with the arrangements.

This is rural France at its best, with its unique local culture, traditions, customs and way of life; comparisons cannot be made with England. I would suggest that those who fail to understand or appreciate the ways of life in other countries and who seek English breakfasts, drunken noise-filled nights, lodging in unremarkable boarding houses usually run by apathetic proprietors, would be better suited to a few days in Blackpool!

We recently attended a dinner and concert evening at the Chateau du Puits et Pratx. I have to say ,we very very impressed. The food was excellent, service first class and the music, a guitarist and piano duo, were superb. Overall, a fantastic night in a stunning setting - we will definitely be back for any future events similar to the one that we attended.
