“Above and Beyond”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

After a devastating house fire my daughter and I stayed at the Comfort Inn Bridgewater for a month. More than just a home away from home we came to rely on the staff for so much more than our accommodations. They listened as we shared our feelings/fears, they educated the staff to our particular needs, and even helped to prepare breakfast as my hand was burned. With the utmost discretion and compassion they made us feel they TRULY cared at one of the most difficult times in our lives. Thank you Bernice, Kelly, Joanne, and Nancy.”

Rolled in on our motorcycles with no reservation, staff went out of their way to make welcome us to their hotel. Clean rooms and tasty breakfast.

“At least we didn't pay for the room...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2009

My spouse and I were in Bridgewater to visit family and we chose the Comfort Inn over the Days Inn across the street because of the construction next door to the Days Inn. The room was clean, there was a fridge and microwave and the wireless internet worked well. I also like the fact that we were able to park by the room's "back door" which made it easy to load and unload luggage.

Our problems started about an hour after we went to sleep when we were woken up by what sounded like someone talking in our room. It was quite startling, but turned out to be a man in the next room talking on his cell phone. We noticed there was a small gap between the ceiling and the top of the wall to the room next door and we could see light shining through. It's no wonder we could hear his conversation word-for-word. After about 15 minutes of this, my husband went to the front desk and the clerk came to our room to hear it for herself. She went back to the desk and called him, but after he hung up, it was clear by his cell phone conversation that he had no intention of being quiet. The clerk called us a few minutes later and arranged to move us to a room across the hall and comped our room. Needless to say after being woken up like that, then changing rooms, it didn't make for a restful night. I don't know if all of the rooms have this problem, but I won't be taking a chance again.

“Couldn't Have Been More Pleased”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2009

My husband and another couple stayed at this property during the Hank Snow Tribute weekend. The staff was so helpful .We were early arrriving and the gentleman on the desk went out of his way to ensure that atleast 1 of our 2 rooms were available. The lady on the desk the next morning was as friendly and obliging as he was. The rooms were very clean with loads of towels and the beds very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very adequate, We had no problem finding seats at breakfast time but we are early risers. My only suggestion would be that their breakfast area could be larger to accomodate more people at one time.
