“Mixed feelings”

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a walking holiday in April 2007. Friendly enough staff but hotel is dark and seems jaded. The Portugese tendency to turn all lights off could lead to dire consequences if you can't find any light switches on landings etc! Hotel is by a mini-roundabout and could be noisy from traffic. Buffet breakfast adequate.
