I want to tell you about the spoiled vacation. In fact, I was going to another apartment, but my friends stayed here, and I had to join them for a few days.
I'll start with the positive. The only advantage of this apartments - the location in Kassiopi near the nicest beaches. But the rest got me into horror. The old buildings, once built in a hurry, without basic rules and regulations. A manager gave me the keys to the studio, and not even deign to carry and show room. It's a shame perhaps? The dark, damp, smelly room at first floor. "Sea View" - through the barred window. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, so all the room smells damp and moldy. All in the dirt, cleaning is done only for show. In the kitchen - dirty dishes. Yes! It was just dried mud on spoons! Plumbing killed. I was sick all the 4 days that I spent in this cloaca, on the 5th day I went to another hotel. But the money for the day they didn’t return.
Special mention is that the staff impudently hatch all day in the yard and loud talking, very loudly and deliberately laugh, and you hear everything, because the only window overlooks the courtyard.
I would have thought that all Greece is such dirty and lazy country, but before I spent 5 days in wonderful aparts for the same money in another place of Corfu.

We stayed at Kassiopi Bay for one week at the end of August 2011.
We were four adults and a 3-year old.
The good:
1. The location in Kassiopi could not be better. It is very close to the town center (5 minute walk), but quiet. It is also very close to the better beaches. The views from the hotel are spectacular.
2. The price is very reasonable, even cheap.
3. The staff was helpful
4. The swimming pool is very nice
5. Free internet (slow though) just outside the reception.
The bad:
1. The hotel is not very well maintained - drains are often clogged, the rooms and the kitchen areas could be cleaner.
2. The tap water is not drinkable and tastes horrible. Not even suitable to brush one's teeth.
3. You may have to buy your own soap and toilet paper.
4. There are very few TV channels, none in English.

The rooms were well equipped and adequate,the views from balcony were outstanding,the pool is not overlooked by anyone and was spotlessly clean.The staff were always pleasant and helpful and Demetrius the taxi driver was a great help.Thoroughly recommend this place for a chill out.
Would recommend boat trips from Kassiopi harbour to Vidos island.

Kassioppi Bay is in a fabulous secluded location but still only about 50 metres walk from the town. The views from the appartment are just incredible and it would be worth asking for a front view, as we did. The swimming pool area is nice and was also very quiet as is the appartment complex.
We arrived very late and there was a sign left on our appartment door with my name which was really great as it can be irritating having to contact reception/fill in forms when you arrive somewhere. They couldn't have made it easier for us!
Above all, I will remember this place for how they treated us the day we were leaving. As we had a very late flight, we went to ask reception if we could pay half a day's rent in order to remain in the hotel until 6 pm (there was a sign in the room saying that this was a possibility). They said we could stay until 7.30 pm and they didn't charge us a penny. I know it wasn't high season (June 2010) but I don't believe you would get kindness like that anywhere else in the world. Full marks to them!
Also, book a taxi through reception to/from the airport as they are definitely cheaper than the price we were charged from the airport.
I highly recommend this place and the cleaner/reception guy are just so friendly too!
