“Absolute Circus - Stay away”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

Only stayed one night very gratefull it was not any longer.

The beach bungalow room was very dated and old, while the bathroom was terrible.
Reception was a shambles, no idea what was happening, everyone seemed to be having major problems.
When we went to leave we booked a private taxi through reception (there own vechicle) and paid extra for this service but they then squashed us in a small car with 5 people - basically they told us there was no shared tgransfer available and charged us alot extra for a private one then gave us a shared one. To cap it of the driver was has as hopless as recpetion and didnt even know where he was going.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this resort. I recently stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are lovely and cool. The location is great. Beachfront with shops close by. The staff were lovely and service was fantastic. I will definitely stay there again.

“Very nice hotel and bungalows”

We booked this two week stay, by mail, so we were a little excited to see how this place was. There was a bit confusion when we arrived, but reception handled it very well, we even got an upgrade for one of the two bungalows we booked. They had to rearrange the beds, but no trouble at all. Two bungalows side-by-side, with a perfect view over the sea. The breakfast buffet was not overwelming, but fine, and two very nice attentive waiters. The first week we spent there, the hotel was very quiet. We were almost the only guests there.
Nice cleaning in the rooms every day.
The hotel is in the north end of the Chaweng beach, and I would say I was a bit disappointed of the quality of the beach. The beach is kind of "trapped" by an island/reef so the sand i not that nice quality seen on other beaches.
The surrounding is nice and quiet, but 5-10 min walk along the beach there is plenty of restaurants and 10 min more, you are in the center of Chaweng. The walk is shorter along the beach, than it is by the road, and no hills ;-)
We had a great stay there just relaxing, and the staff we all GREAT, and we would recommend this to others.

“exellent staff and good standard considering 3-star hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2011

We where two couples that should stay there for 5 days. We lived at 4 different hotels during our holiday and the staff at this hotel was the best of all of them. Our problem was that we had with us a wheelchair-user, and booked the hotel from Agoda beacuse they informed that this hotel was able to handle guest using wheelchair wich was not the case. But the staff did what they could to help and even build a ramp to the reseptionarea, and did help us in all ways they could - they provided us free hotel taxi whereever we would go as a compensation. The pool was nice and clean and the restaurant is about 10 meters from the beach - but you have to walk a few meters to bath in the ocean beacuse of the tidewater. The rooms was nice and clean and had a bigger balcony than a 5-star hotel. But the wheelchair did not fit into the bathroomdoor so we had to move to another hotel, wich was a pity beacuse we liked us there. The manager promised us all money back beacuse it was not fittet for wheelchair. Considering this is a 3-star hotel, it was fantastic.
