Be warned: this chateau is beautiful - the furnishings, the swimming pool and a lovely breakfast. However, the other comments made are also accurate. The location is difficult to find, it is very near a busy road which is noisy and there is no air conditioning. For us, overall the hotel was very nice but our stay was ruined by a terrible end. The owner insisted on being paid in cash but did not tell us either before our arrival or during the three days we were there. She only informed us as we were leaving for our flight. We then had to get the cash which was very time consuming and resulted in a very stressful trip to the airport leaving an hour after we had planned. Rather than apologising for the fact that she had not told us this key information in advance, the owner wagged her finger at me and told me off for not having realised that I would have to pay a large amount of cash (2 rooms for 3 nights). Not good service and left us wishing we had gone elsewhere.

Stayed three nights in August. Few rooms so quiet, the rooms with balcony seem the best. Difficult to find but the owner was very helpful with directions. Wonderfully decorated, nice pool, very good breakfast. No air conditionning so can be very hot in the summer. Noisy road no far so ask for the rooms overlooking the back.

We stayed at Saint Cecile for 3 nights in July this year. We booked a roomed with a terrace overlooking the garden and did not regret it! This is a real pearl of a chateau, and we felt we were alone there much of the time. The rooms and the bathrooms are beautiful, and we loved our share of the terrace where we could sit at night and look out over the garden. The pool is wonderful and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The wifi did not work while we were there, but we were able to borrow the castle pc. It´s a beautiful place, no need to hesitate!
