Great guesthouse, simple, clean, friendly and great food. Stayed for 1 week with my girlfriend, after touring around the country. The resturant is very good with a wide selection of western and eastern dishes and also seems popular with guests staying in other hotels visiting to eat. There are plenty of breaks all a short tuk tuk ride away, The guys are always sitting outside the gate ready to go and most know the spots to take you too. Only downside to easy beach would be not much beach to lazy on and you are restricted by the amount of swimming or snorkelling you can do infront of the guest house by the local stilt fishermen who do not like you going into the water near there stilts as it might scare the fish.
Just a 5min walk from the guest house is the train station where you can get to Galle, only a 20min ride really recommend, Matara and Columbo.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in the surf season and it was more than 2 traveling surfers could ask for. The food was great ,the rooms neat and tidy, Oysten,the owner always willing to help out with advice and transport waiting at the door ready to wisk you off to your choice of surf spot. Great value for money.

Easy Beach was recommended to us and we loved it. I wished we'd gone there first so we could chill out a little. It's in a good position for visiting Galle and the more touristy beach areas. It's right on the seafront so there's always a welcome sea breeze. Oysten and his wife were really helpful but still gave us our space. The locals were friendly and visiting the local bank was like a skit from a comedy. We stayed longer than planned as it was so relaxing but there's so much to see and do in Sri Lanka.

I stayed at this little guest house for the third time this winter; I just keep coming back! This is a good value-for-money guesthouse, and cleaner than you'll find most places in Sri Lanka. The owners are friendly, and the chef is great!

The closeness to the beach & the surf is excellent. For those of us not surfing, you just walk out the gate and snorkle before breakfast. I love it :) Good for relaxing & as a basis for small excursions to the surrounding area. Within this price range, this is your best option on the south coast.

Brilliant if you need a few days out of Colombo. The trip down the coast is about 3-4 hours, dependig on traffic. The owners will set you up with a van and pick you up if required. If you ask them they can fix pretty much anything.
