6 of us stayed at this guest house for a couple of days in April. It's pretty new, since the original building was badly damaged in the Tsunami.
The Norwegian owner, Oystein, is a keen surfer so it attracts mainly surfer types. But don't let that put you off (we're not surfers) because its a great value place to stay.
There is a common bar area where you can drink, eat (the food is fabulous), play games and listen to 80's music.
The rooms are well equipped, with fans (the cabanas have a/c), clean and are romantic! - i.e. four-poster double beds with mosquito nets. It can be noisy early in the mornings because its quite near the road so close the windows before you go to sleep
