A perfect match of friendly service and delicious food and sleeping arrangements. The hospitality of Lesley, Brian during the day and evening and the light and lively chit chat in the morning from Karen and Sean (Shawn) were enjoyable. The best thing was "no surprises" It is what it is and that's just perfect. A little glass of wine on arrival and good instructions for our stay started us off and on our way. The selections at breakfast were out of the ordinary along with the full Scottish breakfast - very refreshing, tasty, and the smoothies were real smoooooooth. Great coffee machine for that early morning fix and late night jolt. Lesley was like our personal angel, when you thought of something she was there before you could say it. Thanks, Leslie and all for a stress free stay at the Gove House.

As Regular visitors to the Isle of Skye we decided to break the drive and stop at Oban. We booked the Grove house bed and breakfast and we couldnt believe how lucky we were! We arrived slightly early and were greated by Lesley who was a most delightful woman, she was so helpful and a pleasure to speak to. We were shown to our room and Lesley explained everything we needed to know. The room was more than expected, the presentation was lovely and such things as tea/coffee/water were all available in our room (not to mention the complementary glass of wine) there was also what must be the most comfortable bed in Scotland.
Breakfast was wonderful, nothing was spared and we met the owners who were wonderful people. The breakfast food and presentation was of great hotel quality with the personal touch of a bed and breakfast, the owners clearly care about their guests and reputation.
I have already recommended the Grove to friends and would have no doubt about recommending to the TA community.
Would definately return.

Stayed here while diving in oban friendly welcome, clean comfortable rooms and a great breakfast - fruit smootie and argyl mushrooms topped with scrambled egg and parmesan cheese !

To all those looking at planning a driving holiday in Scotland I would most definately recommend this little guesthouse that has a four star rating but provides a five star service. Don't miss out at visiting this small village and whilst there stay at the Grove. Both Rachel and Leslie were most welcoming and accomodating. I would recommand it to everyone!!
