We were aware when booking this Hotel online that it was on the outskirts of Cognac, but were a little surprised to find ourselves in the middle of a thriving industrial estate! No doubt we benefitted by staying on a Saturday night when the majority of the commercial units were closed, but could imagine it being noisy mid-week. However, on a positive note, the member of staff in reception on our arrival was extremely helpful and most welcoming. Our requirement for a quiet room had obviously been taken very seriously. It was shame that a Hotel boasting an outdoor swimming pool couldn't have incorporated restaurant facilities ... but a recommendation was made and proved successful. Breakfast was OK. This Hotel is difficult to recommend to a friend due to its location but suited our purposes as a mid-way stop-over on a long distance motoring holiday.
