Another overnight stay on the way to Cherbourg. Large bedroom overlooking the garden, clean bathroom with shower over the bath.
We had an excellent meal not too expensive with attention to detail, the chef was the owner of the Hotel (makes such a difference), Would stay here again.

we had the €36 and the starters and main courses were good, however, we were served two tiny slices of cheese on a plate with bits of lettuce like in a routier inspite of them having a great trolley of various cheeses which we had to have a la carte. Very naughty. and because of this we will not go back there. For this price you expect decent choice of cheese. Not a match to several good restaurants in the region.

This hotel is under new ownership and we were not told this when we booked. It was just changing hands at the time. We were enticed by previous reviews, especially for the food. The new owners could not be more helpful and the food was very good. Dining room is lovely. Wonderful breakfast as well. The hotel is very clean and rooms spacious but given the price a bit of an upgrade is in order just to freshen up. A bit confusing to find as well but a nice alternative to the tourist traps at Mont St Michel.

My wife enjoyed this charming hotel for two nights. Our standard room was very comfortable and spotless. The beautiful on-site restaurant is remarkable for the quality and freshness of its imaginative cuisine, as well as for its excellent selection of wines. Needless to say, the breakfast was amazing. Each morning, a plate of perfect strawberries accompanied our fresh orange juice and pastries. The hotel has been in the Leroux family since the early 1900's and they are warm and convivial hosts. If your travels take you near Le Mont Saint Michel you should do yourself a favor and enjoy this cozy hotel.
