We had an incredible time at this B&B. A beautifully renovated house/barn was delight to stay. Two couples traveling together and the accommodation worked out great. Caitlan and hubby were excellent hosts. The breakfast was delicious; she made homemade jams to go along with the incredible croissants. Definitely want to go back and stay longer. I would suggest 7 nights minimum as the area has many things to see in the very local area. Caitlan made great recommendations for dinner locations and local siteseeing.

We really enjoyed our time at La Tour de Cause. Caitlyn and Albert were so welcoming and helpful - it felt like a home away from home. Our room and ensuite bathroom were large, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts, and particularly Caitlyn's yummy home made jams, included a range of fruit, yoghurt, croissants and cereals and it was great each morning to chat with other travellers and discuss plans for the day's travels. Situated in a tiny hamlet not far from Castelnaud la Chapelle, this B&B offers a quiet retreat within a short driving distance of the Dordogne River, Beynac castle, Sarlat and many of the attractions in this beautiful area of France.

Once we located the correct roads (yes, Albert, we should have had the map you recommended!), we found ourselves arriving to a wonderfully warm welcome from Caitlin and Albert. As another Reviewer says, it was like staying with family. La Tour is easily placed for wonderful sightseeing, restaurants, walks or just plain relaxing; we enjoyed the opportunity to mingle with other guests in a relaxed setting and share stories of what we had all been doing that day. On any return visit to France, La Tour de Cause will be first on our list if possible. Many thanks Caitlin and Albert for a memorable stay.
