Is this the best hotel in France? Certainly from my point of view! It is situated in the country South of Auxerre and in reasonable distance of Paris. Rooms start at about 120 Euros for a pretty small but well appointed room with double bed bathroom and minibar. Breakfast and food is excellent. We are vegetarian and gave them notice and had the best meal that I have ever eaten. It is quiet and has acres of grounds and - oh yes - a golf course swimming pool fitness room and Turkish bath.
Overall not cheap by the time the food and wine is added but well well worth it!
