We have been to Cyffdy before, as a couple, with friends and with family. It has been brilliant every time. It is the type of place you can feel relaxed about before you even start your journey, as you know it is going to be a lovely time. This was our first visit to Snowdonia with active little children (5 and 2). The cottages were child friendly, and we found lots of places to go which catered for energetic children. The 0.8 mile walk to the playground at Parc each day went down very well, and Babs and Barry were lovely letting the kids play outside in the outdoor space and running around in the fresh air. We've now been to Cyffdy Farm Cottages 5 times and have absolutely loved every time. We stayed in 'Poachers Pocket' this time (August 2011) and it was as fab as the rest of the cottages. Babs and Barry (the owners) are the loveliest couple who really will do their utmost to ensure your stay is the best it can be. My brother and sister-in-law joined us this time with their 4-week old baby and the amount of tumble-drying that Babs did for them (cheerfully!!) sums up their approach - they really are lovely people! We consider Cyffdy to be the 'gold standard' for holidays and we aim to be back there again in 2012!

We stayed in Beudy Brics at the beginning of August. The cottage, as with all the others at Cyffdy Farm, was beautifully decorated, comfortable and in a lovely setting. The garden was lovely and the new deck was a perfect place for breakfast. We had teenage boys and found great activities, especially Go Below at Conwy Falls. This is a must if its raining! It won't stop you getting wet but you'll have great fun. We also made use of the pool and sauna at the Bala Leisure centre - really nice staff there who'll switch the sauna on ready for you if you call them before hand. Thanks Babs at Cyffdy for a lovely time.

I spent 3 nights at Beudy brics, cyffdy farm cottage together with my family. the location has fantastic views including Bala lake and despite being off the main road it has good road access and it is easy to find with satnav. Beudy brics had fantastic views, very spacious, clean and plenty of facilities are available for guests. Manager lives close to the cottage and she was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely go back to this cottage.
