Real St Lucia with dedicated and warn, friendly front office and housekeeping staff. Picturesque setting. On property restaurant, Doolittle's serves excellent food on the bay but they need to speed up service. Dive shop should be staffed during regular business hours. We plan to start saving to return to this special place.

My wife and I have stayed at Marigot Beach Club many times over the last 10 years and it keeps getting better each time. I guess some of the previous reviewers either don't do their research or are simply unable to be pleased or both.

This a small privately owned Caribbean resort. The rooms are quaint and tastefully decorated. Some are secluded and some have outstanding views. But they are all more than adequate to suit a reasonably minded traveler on a reasonable budget. The Caribbean is expensive. There is no getting around it. You may as well get used to the idea of "Caribbean time" also. You're on vacation. What's your hurry? Are the people you are with that unbearable to spend time with sitting at a table admiring the gorgeous views ? Maybe it's just me, but I love spending time sitting with my wife while waiting for a meal talking about our day.

We selected a beachfront studio with the breakfast option. The room was clean and well appointed. If we needed anything, we asked and we got it. No problems. The resort is gorgeous with amazing views and beautiful gardens.

The housekeepers were attentive and thorough. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were professional and courteous. Take a little time to say hello and chat a bit. It will be a rewarding experience. Many of these people are very interesting if you just take a moment. Special Hello to Glen the bartender. He was great fun!

Doolittle's, the on-site restaurant is a relaxing breakfast spot and a good value when included in the room rate. We found it very convenient to get up in the morning, grab some good food and simply sign the check and be on our way. Certainly there was a bit of a wait at times but we were right on the water watching the sailboats and yachts come and go. Fantastic!

We only had lunch there a couple of times and when we did, we walked up to the bar, ordered and paid and had the food delivered to our beach chairs on the beach. Not that stressful at all.

Dinners were busy and lively. The food has improved every time we have visited, not only the quality and presentation but the variety also.

I would recommend taking time to stop and talk to Dave the owner. He can usually be found at the bar in the evenings sipping a Coke and working on his Ipad. He is one of the most interesting and colorful characters I have ever met. It would be worth your time to introduce yourself to him.

All in all I would highly recommend a stay at Marigot Beach Club and a meal at Doolittle's. Just remember to RELAX! We can't wait to get back!

Just back from MBC yet again. I go there at least twice a year every year. So So realy good that i will be booking my next return flights in the morning having been back for 5 days now! Make great new friends every time.
The locals are fantastic especialy the beach boys "Teflon an Fluffy" totally trustworthy and nice guys.
Service can be a bit slow but you are on holiday in "paradise" does that matter? David the owner is as mad as a hatter but one of nicest hotel owners you will ever have the absolute pleasure to meet and spend some time with!

Glen the barman is the best in the Caribean and Nattadia one of the waitresses is one of the most atractive on the island. Always smiling and so happy.

I have a few million miles on the travel clock but cant stop going back to Marigot Beach Club - St Lucia - Simple not 5* but simply the very best!!!!

Stayed at Marigot for about 2 weeks with my family, and absolutely loved it. The resort is filled with some of the more sincere and lovely people I have ever met, the locals, the staff and the guests! Marigot beach club is a real melting pot of incredible people in an incredible location. To everybody complaining about the rooms, they have everything you need and the new panorama rooms are extremely luxurious with brilliant views, you should be down at the beach not in the room anyway! This is a real St Lucian hotel, filled with real St Lucian people, not a massive faceless chain company. Treat the staff well and respectfully and they will treat you with nothing less than their utmost attention and care.

Started the new year here and couldn't have wished for anywhere better. Will never forget it and would like to say a massive thankyou to the management and the whole team of staff who made it so brilliant.
