We spent the second half of our honeymoon on the idyllic island of Anguilla, staying at MBBV and couldn't have imagined a more perfect place! The island itself is beautiful and peaceful, and full of friendly people. We stayed in villa 1- the beachfront villa and it was even more wonderful than the pictures show it to be. The villa was immaculate and comfortable... we spent each evening swimming in the private pool on our deck, lounging on the deck, listening to the waves roll in. Chris was so friendly and helpful in arranging anything we asked. Groceries were delivered, cabs were waiting and great suggestions were offered. Delta and the rest of the staff were so friendly and warm... she even hugged us good-bye! There are a few good restaurants within walking distance for both lunch and dinner. We will be back to Anguilla (with the kiddos next time) and wouldn't consider staying anywhere but Meads Bay Beach Villas! Thanks for a perfect honeymoon :)

Let me add to my husband's review: the hotel website doesn't prepare you for how great the place is. They don't tell you that there's daily maid service, an extremely large and private outdoor shower attached to the master bedroom and WiFi that's easy to hook up to and actually works without interruption. They tell you there's a restaurant close by, but not that it's been voted one of the best in the Caribbean and that it's a one minute walk away. There are enough beach chairs for everyone staying there to get one without fighting for a chair like in some resorts I won't name. The parking is close to each villa and at no extra charge. We encountered absolutely no problems here except one - they need a strainer in the kitchen for those of you who are going to eat in once in a while. When the worst problem can be remedied by a quick trip to the store and a ten dollar bill, there's nothing to complain about. This is truly a carefree vacation and I'd recommend Meads Bay to anyone, from novice travelers to those who are used to luxury resorts.

My girlfriend and I went to Meads Bay Beach Villas last summer and it was the best vacation I could have asked for. The villas were private, had their own pool, and were just feet away from the most picturesque beach you could imagine. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to assist you with any needs you may have. They arranged everything from dinner reservations to catamaran rides to private islands surrounding Anguilla. The landscaping really made you feel like you were in your own paradise. I would highly recommend Meads Bay Villas to anyone considering the Caribbean for their next vacation.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Meads Bay last summer and we can't wait to plan our next trip down. We stayed in Villa 4 and it was wonderful to have so much privacy while on the most beautiful, peaceful beach I've ever seen. Having our own pool was unbelievable and being able to go from the pool to the beach and back was pretty amazing. Since it was the off season, the island was fairly quiet and it basically felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves.

We were interested in experiencing the whole island and the staff was so helpful in suggesting restaurants, live music venues (Gwen's and Bankie's were awesome!), and setting up boat trips for us to the surrounding islands. I highly recommend asking Chris to set up a trip out to Sandy Island to go snorkeling - it's truly surreal and the food was absolutely delicious. And if you can, go to Veya; very romantic and truly one of the best meals of my life. But you really can't go wrong anywhere.

It was the perfect vacation but I'm afraid it spoiled us for the rest of the Caribbean - we don't ever need to go anywhere else!
