“Thrilled to find this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2010

We were sitting in a restaurant and had decided that we just didn't want to travel anymore that day and saw the sign for the hotel down the beach. I walked down there and asked for a room. I was then told to follow the maid and we went off down the road a few hundred meters and then up two flights of stairs to the most divine little beach front two story room. it had a lovely balcony overlooking the boardwalk and beach. It was a warm and inviting room and I was absolutely thrilled to have found it. I would love to go back again and spend more time there.

“Not quite on the beach as expected”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2010

Stayed for 1 night returning to Dieppe after holiday in France
Never visited Normandy before so chose this hotel as on the beach
Family room 159Euro B&B
When we arrived the hotel has a lovely restaurant recently refurbed so we expected a nice room . After checking in , we were told our accomodation was in another building set behind the houses on the road behind the beach road. A little creative in the hotel I think.
Room was good - downstairs area with 2 singles then stairs up to mezzannine with double bed. Small adequate shower room
Public Rooms / Breakfast room was a bit motel like but OK.
We ate at restaurant in evening - very good
Visited Juno Beach museum & took guided tour which was very interesting
Also visted war cemetary nearby

“wonderful location, room, food and staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2010

wonderful location, smart and modern bedrooms and a stunning restaurant. Every table was taken every night we were here and it was obvious why.. not just hotel guests but clearly people travel from afar to eat here. Varied menu, superb staff and just the most fantastic cuisine. Beautifully prepared dishes and every one we sampled a winner!! We will long remember out stay here and can't wait to be back. What a gem!

“Hotel on the beach with unbelivable fish restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2009

The hotel occupies a beach location in a quiet village. The rooms are airy and confortable. It is ideally located to visit the Normandy landing beaches and war musuems. The food is among the best we have experianced in France. Friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended.

“Ideal in every way”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2009

My husband and I stayed with my parents on a four day visit to the d day beaches. When I rang to book 2 sea view rooms Gregory suggested we might like a 2 bedroom apartment. This proved to be ideal as we had a small lounge with a balcony (the only downside was that there were no tea or coffee making facilities which my 80 year plus parents would have appreciated!). Although the balcony did not have a sea view (the bedrooms did) it was still pleasant to sit out. We were there on a half board basis and the food was very good. There was plenty of choice (including oysters and fresh fish) and you could pay extra to have a la carte choices if you wished. The restaurant was full every night with lots of non residents chosing to eat there. The apartment was newly refurbished and very clean. The hotel is right on the promenade with no traffic between it and the beach.
If we are in the area again we will definitely stay there.
