“Woodlands Leisure Park - We will return, fabulous”

We have just returned from a weekend break at the Woodlands, and cannot fault it at all.

After notifiying them that we would arrive late on the Friday, a warm welcome awaited us, plus a personal guide to the caravan which was warm, lit and had the beds made. Absolutely fantastic after a long journey - which was made worthwhile.

We enjoyed the pool on the Saturday morning, which was lovely and quiet with large clean changing rooms and warm showers.

The staff on the site were polite and eager to help, and we really were sad to leave.

Try it, and you wont be dissapointed.

“Relaxing family holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2011 via mobile

We stayed as 2 families(2 couples both with a child aged 3) in one of the lodges and had a wonderful time. Really roomy lodge which is well equipped (even a dishwasher and washer dryer). The site is well kept and staff friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was clean and the club house friendly with good value home cooked meals on offer. All in all a really relaxing time was had by all - will definately return!

“Norfolk Retreat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

We have just returned from spending a lovely three day mini break from Woodlands. The accommodation was fantastic, very clean and lovely and warm so very cosy. We all slept incredibly well including our three year old! The play equipment was good and our little one enjoyed using it, we liked the pool the best. a good size and stayed the same depth so perfect for children. the baby pool was good and again clean (and warm). It was good that no inflatables were allowed so even though there were quite a few children you could still have a swim in peace. The sauna was a plus and very relaxing. The staff were very good and extremely helpful showing us around other lodges and campsite as we want to return but bring family next time. Our little one enjoyed the games room especially the car ride. The food was good and very reasonably. We were able to go out at night and listen to the band in the club house, the children loved dancing to the band. A really relaxing stay and we felt we were away for longer than three days. We look forward to our return-our little one didn't want to leave.

“Brilliant holiday had by all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

We have just got back from a wonderful week in Owl Lodge 5 at Woodlands. We booked direct with the park in February saving £50 on Hoseasons published price.

Communication with the park was good and on arrival we were welcomed warmly and escorted by golf buggy to our lodge.

We unloaded the car (not parked directly outside but in a carpark a minute walk from the lodge) and switched on the heating. Within half an hour we were warm and drinking tea from our welcome pack.

The lodge was fresh, clean, warm and a great home for the next week. Without request, a travel cot, highchair and stairgate were already in the lodge for us to use which was a really nice (and safe) touch.

We booked a carvery for the following day and were very pleased. £60 for six of us including drinks and a more than ample serving each of roast dinner and pudding for four of us. All food was fresh and very appetising. We ate a further two times and both were fresh, tasty and reasonable including breakfast on the day of departure.

The hot tub at our lodge was perfect! The kids made the most of it- often going in twice a day. We enjoyed it in the evenings with a glass of wine in hand! The swimming pool was clean and not overcrowded (due to us arriving a week before half term) and the cost was included in the price of the cabin.

The park is situated close to Cromer, perfect for crabbing and sandcastles. The nearby beaches at Overstrand and Mundesley are beautiful. The Chinese takeaway in Mundesley (New Sage) is delicious!

The beds in the cabin could have done with an overhaul including new mattresses, mattress protectors, pillows and duvets as they were clearly old and tired. The bathrooms also needed a decent anti fungal clean up - black marks around seals is rather off putting and bath/shower mats would have been an idea.

Overall, we had a lovely holiday. The staff on the park were so friendly and couldn't do enough, they're also really geared up for children which really makes a difference.

We will definitely be back next year, perhaps this time with friends. Thank you Woodlands

“Excellent park!”

We have just spent 4 nights in the Woodland Woodpecker - outstanding accommodation. Very clean, attentative staff, great location. Pool area is excellent - again very clean and well looked after. I am a travel agent and have visited many holiday parks throughout the UK, and this by far is one of the best. During our stay my 8mth old became unwell and the manager and staff were great. Towels were included which is a bonus! The park itself is lovely with plenty of wildlife. One evening my 3yr old daughter sat in the hot tub watching the bats and owls - it was lovely. All the lodges are beautiful and i would definately recommend them. The woodpecker is suitable for someone in a wheelchair too.
