The best hotel we have experienced in Sicily. A great atmosphere. The rooms are large, well decorated and beautiful. We have spent 2 lovely days there - used the wide pool, have horse riding with the kids in the hills, visited the vinery and dine at the restaurant. The only disadvantage is the location – remote from main road and difficult to locate even with a GPS. It is better to get during day times and to improve the road's sign at the entrance.

Great place, amazing hotel in the middle of a vineyard, 15mns away from Cefalu's Center.
We stayed there one night but would have liked to stay one or two more days. The swimming pool is so nice, the location is so charming.
The room was spacious and very beautiful.
We loved it, the preferred hotel of our 10 days trip in Sicily.

If you want to escape the crowds, then this is the place to come. You leave the main road and drive for what feels like ages up a very bumpy road up a hill and eventually reach this beautiful hotel.

We were there in May - not exactly peak, but not low season either and the place was very empty which seemed a shame. The place is beautifully renovated - our room was huge and comfortable with a large spotlessly clean bathroom. The pool terrace outside is huge and inviting - and not a soul was out there. We seemed to be the only people to use it during our 3 night stay. They have a beautiful reading room with tapestries on the wall, a fireplace and large comfy sofas - this is somewhere you really can come to unwind.

The staff though not unfriendly were a litlte neutral I suppose you could say, but that was ok. We ate in the restaurant one night which was disappointing. The waiter was very offhand to the point of being unfriendly. My pasta course was unpalatable incredibly bitter and over-salted and he wasn't remotely bothered when I said so and then when we saw the only other couple in the place both send back the same dish, again - no reaction. I don't imagine any guests eat there twice during their stay. The wine however was delicious. I read afterwards there is some sort of tour you can do of their wine cellars, but nobody said a word about it to us while we were there - they were just a bit indifferent.

So overall a beautiful hotel - space, views, comfort...just don't expect 5 star service and you won't be disappointed. It's still a lovely place to go and stay.

Not for the faint hearted or those who enjoy the nightlife, but if you are seeking a place well away from the hustle and bustle, then this is for you.
20 minutes from the coast (half of that time negotiating a winding, bumpy track that seems to go on upwards for ever.
At the end, a delightful hotel, a warm welcome, excellent food, friendly staff. Everything spotlessly clean and well maintained.
Stayed eight nights and loved every moment.
