Although the hotel was generally fine, the moment we arrived the staff at the front desk were unhelpful and had a really bad attitude towards some of the questions we asked. I think he was called firat. All we asked him was how much £20 was in lira so we could pay for the safe box, because we had changed our money to lira in England, and he responded with attitude. He took our passports and did not explain why he needed to keep them till the morning. We had travelled for approximately 8 hours; our flight had been delayed and we had to put up with his attitude when we arrived. Another incident which also occurred with the same member of staff was where I took my room key and forgot to give it my sister before a night out, who was sharing my room. Although he allowed her to use the master key to open her room he left her all night without electricity and refused to help. The cleaners cleaned the room well however the bathroom had only been done once in two weeks. It was filthy towards the end of the second week, I even went to complain about it, but nothing was done. Recommendation for an excellent stay would be club alize had no problems in 2009 rooms were even cleaned twice a day.

Been to Melay for the last four years, we always have a fantastic time, the staff are wonderful and the entertainment is great every night.
The resturant serves great food so we really do not go anywhere to eat, our waiter Carlos is funny and and a delight at all times
The new customer care was ozzy was great as well helful and always giving us information when required.
the shops on site are also great and he night culd can keep you going till 3 in the morning, booked to go back next year hopefully for three weeks this time recommend to any one young or old.

Been to Melay Hotel/Club Atrium Marmaris for the last 5 years and booked already to go again next year, without a doubt this is the best hotel in Marmaris, the management, staff, food and rooms are fantastic. The staff are always friendly could not do enough for you, food in the Havana Restaurant is second to none, highly recomend the boat trips book with Rosa the lady near the Taj Pan chinese restaurant she is really good and gets you on a good boat. Rooms always very clean and the hairdresser is also fantastic. Tattoo Guy in the hotel always does well and I am tempted to have another one done next time. We always go here with friends that we have met and stayed in touch with every year and never had anything to complain about yet. Thank you to everyone at the Melay it is always a pleasure to book a holiday there every year .

we've just got back from turkey and what a holiday. the hotel staff were brilliant,nothing was too much trouble. the guys working in the Havana bar and Bar Cuba, Carlos,joey, Ossie and all the others were always laughing and joking and were great entertainment. If you fancy a good meal go to the Oasis restaurant, great meal,great prices. Don't book trips with the reps, they are too expensive, right next door to Oasis there is Al Pacino at A&S,he'll tell you about the trips and you'll get them at great prices, much cheaper than the rep. Great entertainment all through the day at the hotel, and great entertainment at the Havana bar and Bar Cuba. Give it a try.
