Nice place, delicioustable, great wines but bedrooms are a bit too oldfashion....A duvet would be such more comfortable than a blanket !

We had no trouble finding this gem.
We stayed here and did a side trip to Beaune one day, and to Chateauneuf en Auxois (just down the street) the next day. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast (fee I think was 10 euros), but well worth it. We got a great deal on a non refundable/pay in advance room. My only regret, was that we didn't pay a little more and get a larger room. The "Comfort Double" was the one we booked, and it was a little small. But the view out our window was Chateauneuf. You can't beat that. The grounds of the Chateau are beautiful to walk around. There are many deer, and some exotic animals. Children would love it. The chateau is truely magnificant, and well wouth the visit. The internet was a little weak in our room at the top, so my husband worked in one of the beautiful rooms down stairs,

Grand hotel/restaurant chateau with magnificent salons, pond, animals, garden. We stayed in a room on the upper floor, less expensive. The staff was excellent. This was truly a french experience.

We driving throughout France and very late one night we drove thru this little village. We needed a place to spend the night and we were glad that we noticed a sign for the hotel. I was very skeptical about the place, since it was probably 10 pm, and all I could hear was a dog barking in the distance. We walked in to the lobby and we were just amazed by everything. Person at the check in desk was great, he worked out a great price for us, took us to the room, and best of all made us cappuccino and brought us some cookies. The actual room was a suite with two bedrooms and a living room and for me it seemed like I was brought back to the 14th century. In the morning we had a great breakfast and had cappuccino on the porch that offered some of the best views. I loved it.
