Overall, this is an excellent choice. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood that appears very safe, and is next to a little childern's park. It is an easy 30 minute drive away from Barcelona. You really need a car to stay at this hotel, though; getting there by public transport must not be easy. Free parking is provided by the hotel, but it is difficult to manouvre the car up and down the ramp, as it is rather slippery; a much better alternative is to just park outside on the adjacent street, which is also free and unrestricted, although it's sometimes necessary to park one or two streets away depending on how the number of cars. We booked a twin room and it was spacious with a nice city view. The kitchenette is well stocked, and a Carrefour supermarket is within walking distance, which is rather handy. The only real drawback is the Wi-Fi. It works, but it is very slow and almost unusable. Using Skype on it is impossible. Also, it is rather strange that only a single chair is provided for a desk; there are no dining table or additional chairs, so that dining together is not possible. The LCD TV is large and is widescreen, mounted on the wall, but there are almost no channels in English. But we were quite happy with the hotel, overall, considering its very reasonable price, easy access by car, and well appointed apartment. The reception speaks good English and is friendly and receptive. Local calls are a bit expensive at around 1.3 euros per call. All in all, we were very satisfied with this establishment.
