We stayed at the Antica Pieve in August 2006 and can honestly say it was the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday we've ever had. Lucciano and his fiancee and their family made us feel very welcome from the moment we turned up, late, due to the sat nav!! The whole place, including the pool area was absolutely immaculate. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The t-bone steak is a must! There was a wide selection of local wine that was reasonably priced and the Prosecco was especially nice! The breakfast was uncomplicated, typical of the region but filling. Rooms are spacious, well presented and suitable for two adults and a small child.

Magnifique maison toscane rénovée, très soignée et confortable. Rien de tel que piquer une tête dans la piscine extérieur et se reposer après de longues visite. Il est très bien placée pour visiter de Florence à Sienne et du Chanti à Volterra. N'hésitez pas à demander pour déjeuner sur la terrasse. Très pratique de pouvoir manger sur place après une longue journée : cuisine toscane : simple, très bon. La cuisinère parle allemand et à la réception anglais...

Antica Pieve B&B was very excellent. We were given a very warm welcome after our long and tiring day. We would recommend Antica pieve without hesitation.

Beautiful Place. Beautiful Setting. Everything a tuscan holiday should be. but...we never saw the owners smile once. Nor did they talk to us or give us any adivce on where to go or what to do. Perhaps there was a language barrier but we did not have this problem anywhere else on our trip. The room was very very noisy with traffic.The air conditioner didnt really get the room cold at all. The room was lovely.The food was not very good and there was not alot of variety.
We would not recommend this place at all.
