The hotel is beautifully located in the pictorial town of Covadonga and close to the heart of Picos de Europa (national park in Asturias). View to the cathedral and cave.
Our experience was horrible. We paid 100 Euro excluding breakfast for a room in the addict with only roof windows. The temperature outside was mild (mid twenties). The room was extremely hot (above 30) despite the fact the the A/C was turned on at maximum. The receptionist claimed there is nothing wrong with the A/C and anyway they have no other rooms. She suggested to open the roof windows. This did not help and even worse it Our experience was horrible. We paid 100 Euro excluding breakfast for a room in the addict with only roof windows. This did not help and even worse it started to rain and the windows were leaking directly on the beds. Trying to shut them off produced huge amounts of spilling on the beds. Any way there was no way to survive with closed windows. We had to sleep like that all night in horrible heat and windows leaking on the beds. In addition, the TV did not work and the shower spilled all over the bath. The room is extremely small too. I strongly suggest to avoid this hotel.
