We recently stayed here in a deluxe ocean view room for several days to celebrate my partner's milestone special occassion and couldn't have been happier. Room was simple but gorgeous and the view from our private patio overlooking the pool was sublime. Restaurant food was lovely and we also enjoyed a massage and treatments at the hotel's magnificent spa. The hotel is well located - we hired a vespa after getting off the ferry at Santa Marina and travelled the short distance to Malfa with the hire company dropping our bags at the hotel - highly recommended. Great base for exploring Salina - don't miss nearby Pollara for a swim and he hotel will even pack a delicious lunch on request. They also provide a delightful range of desserts to our room with the local Malvasia wine on hearing it was a special occasion. We will be back and couldn't recommend this hotel more highly if you are after a romantic windswept getaway.

we arrived in Salina by hydrofoil with no reservation and have walked in a few hotels before reaching Malfa and discovered this hidden gem.
The staff here is by far the most friendly that you can find on the island.

This is a breathtaking location for this stunning hotel, cleverly scattered in different buildings amongst scores of lemon trees and fragrant flowers. On a tiny island in the middle of nowhere, with very little to do but properly relax far away from hectic reality, it is a paradise if you want to simply chill out and eat very well! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the food - some of the best meals we've ever had, including the most delicious breakfast (including a variety of home made cakes!!) all served on a pretty terrace.The infinity pool looks out to sea and beyond - a steaming volcano, the rooms are simply decorated with welcoming fans and white linen. There is a luxurious outdoor spa to boot. The local bus service takes you easily meandering along the coastal roads to other villages, if you can drag yourself away from a pool side sun bed to go explore. Amazing.

I have never been to a "boutique hotel", just the usual business travel hotels. I went to Signum recently for my honeymoon and would like to go back every day! The perfect hotel for a honeymoon. Instantly relaxing. Peacefully quiet. Beautiful pool. Homely and warming rooms. Oodles of character. Friendly and helpful staff. Superb food. Fine wine. I could go on and on and on, the list is endless. For me/us, it was the holiday of a lifetime (I hope my spouse agrees!) and I have nothing but fond memories. Go there!
