This B&B is conveniently located close to the airport (just 15 minutes drive) and the sea (about 300-350 meters). Rooms are clean, the hotel itself is small and cozy and its personnel is smiley and friendly. Another nice thing about Australia is its leisure area with a swimming-pool, beach chairs, palm-trees, flowers, small bar etc. It is often windy on the beach, so it is good to have such place nearby.
What I really disliked during my stay was breakfast. Portions were tiny (a slice of cheese, a slice of ham, an egg, some butter and jam) and the food was all the same every day.
I would strongly recommend to stay in Australia. There are a lot of restaurants in Amoudara, thus bad breakfasts served in this hotel won't spoil your vacation.

We booked this hotel as it was cheap and a short ride to the airport to drop off our hire car after touring western Crete. We didnt even stay one night, the room was dirty, crumbs in the drawers and wardrobe, the soap on the sink in the bathroom had obviously been used by the previous occupants! I peeled back the bedcovers to find a hair on the sheet (and not from someones head!!) It really was a bad end to a great holiday. Luckily we still had the car so drove to Agia Pelagia and got a room there. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone.
