My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this small gem on the coast. It was our 1st trip/stop in Croatia and we were pleased with these accomodations and the friendly owners. The place is clean and you can't beat the access to the ocean, quaint location, and helpful staff. Keep in mind, Pension Delfin is not in Split but about 25 minutes from Split. There is a local bus which will take you to Split but PLEASE make sure you validate your ticket or fees/hassels arise.

Villa Delfin is a lovely family run Pension right on the beach (shingle and quite narrow but stilll lovely) in Podstrana, which is about 10km from Split. It was impeccably clean and modern and extremely good value for money (we paid £40/ night for a double room with a balcony with sea view and breakfast). It had its own swimming pool and terrace where breakfast was served. It was a 25 minute bus ride into Split, and the buses went every half an hour from just down the road. It was really nice to spend the day in Split in the hustle and bustle and then stay somewhere slightly further out which was quieter.
