If you are visiting The Hague area and have your own vehicle this is a great place to stay. There is a tram stop right outside of the hotel, but I don't know if it's local to Scheveningen or if it will take you into the city. We loved being so close to the sea (even in March) and all of the restaurants in the area. The staff was VERY nice and helpful. I asked for directions to a nearby museum, which the front desk guy wasn't familiar with, but he looked it up online & called the museum to make sure I got there successfully. Breakfast was typical for this type of hotel. Nice big room.

Helpful staff and good level of cleanliness. Ideal location with good links to Hague Central Station by Tram. A No 9 takes you all the way there for 2 Euros. A large number of places to eat nearby. A good business meeting hotel for short stays. The only down point was the breakfast. 13 Euros for it. It was grossly overpriced. Eat out for breakfast if you can.

We were welcomed by staff that didn't seem to enjoy their job at all. We made the reservation trought internet. According to the confirmation we paid the room + breakfast by credit card. According to the staff we only paid for the room. This surprised me a lot and looked very strange to me. Apparently there went something wrong when they collect the money. I asked why they didn't send me an email about this (=service!) but I should pay or no breakfast. No discussion possible. It was like they said. Unfortunately I was not able to check with credit card organisation at that point. Ok so bad start at the reception. And then we came to the room (superior). They forget to put towels in the room :( . Beside that the room was nice, good bed, good location, just traffic noise. Breakfast was poor.

We were greeted at the hotel reception by a delightful lady who immediately made us feel welcome. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable with lovely fresh bread. The only downside was the noise of traffic late at night and early morning. Scheveningen (the centre) is worth a visit and the promenade hosts many varied and good quality restaurants. Well worth a visit.
