My first impression with Rica Karasjok was not that good - apparently my booking made on Rica site was lost, however luckily I was finally given a room with the same rate. Speaking of the prices this was the most expensive hotel on my trip throughout the whole Norway, though it did not provide the highest comfort. The room was a little bit worn out with a metal wobbly tub in the bathroom and no air conditioning. All the basice amenities were there including a wireless internet access available with no charge. The hotel was easy to find and there was also a free car park available for the guests.
Breakfast quality was very good - there was a lot to choose from including local Sami meals.
When paying with a credit card be advised that the hotel authorizes the card with around 10% more than required - the final charge will still match, but you may not have access to the surplus money until a month or so - depends on how your credit card company matches charges & authorizations.
